Our products, broadly described, are medical cannabinoid formulations developed from one or more of the cannabinoid compounds found in the cannabis plant. Our immediate focus is to treat one of the most important diseases in the world, cancer.
BASIS & PHILOSOPHY
Cannabis plants have extensive history of medical and agricultural use dating back thousands of years.
To date hundreds of natural constituents covering several chemical classes have been isolated and identified from the Cannabis plant.
SOME KEY PHYTOCANNABINOIDS ARE:
- tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)
- cannabidiol (CBD)
- cannabigerol (CBG)
- cannabichromene (CBC)
- cannabinol (CBN)
These cannabinoids belong to the chemical class of terpenophenolics, of which 85 have been uniquely identified in cannabis, including the most psychoactive cannabinoid, THC. Some applications of cannabinoids have been well established in peer-reviewed literature such as for alleviating nausea and stimulating the appetite for people with AIDS and cancer. Other well-known uses include easing chronic pain and reducing muscle spasms associated with multiple sclerosis and spinal cord injuries.
The pharmacology of THC has been widely studied, while many other identified cannabinoids are still poorly characterized pharmacologically and biologically, with new activities for cannabinoids consistently being discovered.
Valley Medical is developing novel cannabis based approaches to treat the world’s most deadly illnesses. We learn from patients about the healing properties of cannabis medicines. Our immediate focus is the development of cutting edge cancer treatments.
The Company’s future endeavors include infectious illnesses, neurobehavioral disorders including attention deficit disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder; and an application of the anti-inflammatory activities of cannabis in the management of age-related illnesses.
The endocannabinoid system possessed by all vertebrates regulates all body systems and maintains homeostasis. As such, the mechanisms of phytocannabinoids’ biological impact are multidimensional.
While concentrating on our core activities of discovering and developing treatments that will make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives, we remain mindful that we have other responsibilities to the clinicians who utilize our drugs, health authorities around the world, our shareholders, our employees, and the communities in which we live and work. We continually strive to improve our corporate responsibility standards and activities, implementing comprehensive ethical standards and undertaking patient and community progressive initiatives.
These principles reflect the mission of Valley Medical to provide innovative therapeutics for unmet medical needs.
As the industry leader, Valley Medical consults and leads other emerging businesses that Cannabis Science believes has a preferred business model, one which will mature into a key business model in the future. Our consulting is on the entire "seed to sale" process with a focus on bio-pharmaceutical development.
Valley Medical is one of the longest standing companies in the cannabis business.
We feel that the correct way is to look at the industry from a bio-pharmaceutical standpoint, in a manner that allows cannabinoid-based products to modulate the endocannabinoid system to treat multiple conditions. Scientifically, we know this is the beginning of one of the greatest expansions of medicine and industry we will ever experience in our lifetime.

Some applications of cannabinoids have been well established in peer-reviewed literature such as alleviating nausea and stimulating the appetite for people with AIDS and Cancer. Other well-known uses include easing chronic pain and reducing muscle spasms associated with neuromuscular disorders like MS and spinal cord injuries. Some current uses are poorly understood, such as its perceived effectiveness in alleviating certain autoimmune disorders, such as Crohn’s Disease.
Our team of scientists will produce and commercialize products derived from cannabis-based botanical extracts. Even today, new uses for cannabinoids are consistently discovered. For example, scientists recently found that topical cannabinoid-based preparations can be effective against MRSI, the deadly antibiotic-resistant flesh-eating disease. Other topical applications, which are largely non-psychoactive, would target localized pain, such as arthritis and burns, as well as neuropathic pain, for which there are few effective treatments.
In 2001, an article published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal revealed that, based on self-identified needs, it is estimated that 2% (or 400,000) of Canadian adults were already utilizing cannabinoids for medical purposes. With ever increasing use and scientific support for cannabinoid medicines occurring in the US and around the world, we are looking at a new multi-billion dollar industry that will play a dramatic role that will impact human health on a global scale.
January 28, 2016 Updated Financial and Investor information 2 September 2016
This section was updated on 2 September 2016 due to a new certification of our test grow of Medical Cannabis in our Farm # 3 in Monteria Colombia.
The Colombian Government has taken random samples of our test grow of 1,000 medical grade cannabis plants. The reason for this random sampling is to determine the viability of our production as medical grade plants and the quality of such.
The following represents the results and market price as determined by FNE of Colombia, the controlling entity for controlled substances.
Authorized Hectares for growing fields: 20
Authorized plants per Hectare: 8,000
Flower yield per plant: 3 to 5 pounds
Graded extracted oil per ounce of flower: 3 to 4 grams
Market price as determined by grade of extracted oils: $120,000 to $180,000 Colombian Pesos ($40 to $60 USD )
Based on the above data as provided by our official certification, the following report is offered: (We are using the minimum values as provided by the Colombian certification)
8,000 plants per hectare
x 3 pounds of flower per plant
=24,000 pounds of Flower
x 16 ounces per pound
x 3 grams per ounce
=1,152,000 grams of Oil
x $40 per gram
=$46,080,000 USD per one Hectare per quarter.
VMG is in the process of preparing 3 Hectares for planting. Each growing period for a mature plant is 3 to 4 months. Planting schedule is one hectare per quarter providing an evenly spaced yield of 9 harvests per year. We need investors to help grow this project.

Colombia Approves Medical Marijuana
On 22 December 2015, Colombia's president has signed a decree fully legalizing medical marijuana in a shift away from preventing drug crop production.
Juan Manuel Santos said the move put Colombia "in the group of countries that are at the forefront...in the use of natural resources to fight disease".
But, he said, the country would still fight illegal drug production. Up until now, marijuana production in Colombia had fallen into a legal grey area. While a 1986 law allowed for the manufacture, export, sale and medical and scientific use of marijuana, the practice was, until Tuesday, never formally regulated.
Anyone wishing to grow marijuana must now apply to the National Narcotics Council for a licence. Medical marijuana is used for medical ailments such as Crohn's disease, seizures, HIV and nausea.
Last year, Mr Santos, who has admitted smoking cannabis while a student in Kansas in the 1970s, said legalization would take drug production out of the hands of drug traffickers.
In addition the U.S. Senate today passed the FY2016 Military Construction and Veterans Affairs (MilCon-VA) Appropriations Bill, which includes language to allow Veterans Administration (VA) doctors to recommend medical marijuana to their patients in states where medical marijuana is legal. The language was included as an amendment in the Senate Appropriations committee in May.
“Veterans in medical marijuana states should be treated the same as any other resident, and should be able to discuss marijuana with their doctor,” said Michael Collins, deputy director of national affairs for the Drug Policy Alliance. “It makes no sense that a veteran can’t use medical marijuana if it helps them and it is legal in their state.”
U.S. approves States rights to Medical Marijuana
Under the provision, states where medical pot is legal would no longer need to worry about federal drug agents raiding retail operations. Agents would be prohibited from doing so.
We are in the process of putting together a small investment group to go forward with the construction and production of facilities including growing fields.
We are not limiting the growing fields to our Cordoba farms as the quality for Medical Marijuana may require other varying environmental conditions for the best results. We are currently investigating six zones in Colombia to determine the best area for the product.
Statistics show that historically one meter of land will produce between 400 to 500 grams of cannabis buds. The cost to grow and process cannabis in Colombia is from $2.50 to 3.50/lb, and world average price is $2000-5000/lb.
Extracting cannabis oils (CDB and THC) adds a new dimension to sales. The extraction process is estimated at one pound of trim produces 28 grams of concentrate.
Concentrate will be processed into varying strengths of Vape capable oil.
Dry Cannabis products will be rolled int cigarettes and packaged at 5 sticks per pack or 20 stick per package
Our sources say Cannabis oil retails for around $50 per gram, with wholesale rates of $20 to $30 per gram. The pound rate—if it exists—would be $9,000 wholesale or more. Therefore 72 ounces of liquid Cannabis oil would carry a $40,000 price tag.
Outdoor production: one plant per square meter
Indoor Production 4 plants per square meter
Proposed production facility: Valley Medical Group proposes to build laboratory and production facilities in the Rio Negro Free Zone, thus allowing High Security and untaxable worldwide shipping.
Cordoba, Colombia 100 Hectares available (There are 10,000 Square Meters per Hectare).
Cauca, Colombia 50 Hectares Available
Valley Medical Group sells only to approved dispensaries and pharmacies.
Markets include dispensary and pharmacy locations around the world to include the United States Veterans Administration. Controlled production allows for a medically sound product.
