What is Eucalyptus Oil?
Eucalyptus Oil is derived from the leaves of the Eucalyptus Tree, which is a tall evergreen tree with long and glossy green leaves. Other popular names for this tree include Blue Mallee, Blue Gum Tree, and Fever Tree. For centuries, dried Eucalyptus leaves have been used as a flavouring agent in teas and food, while the oil has been recognized and used for its medicinal and health benefits. Eucalyptus is native to Australia, which is one of the main reasons why Australia is one of the largest sources of this essential oil. Eucalyptus Oil also blends well with many other essential oils such as Thyme, Rosemary, Cedarwood, Lavender, Frankincense, and Marjoram.
What are the Benefits of Eucalyptus Oil?
The oil and the leaves of the Eucalyptus tree contain Eucalyptol and Cineole, which are two active ingredients that have been recognized as having a number of medicinal benefits. Recent research suggests that Eucalyptus Oil has antibacterial, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, analgesic, decongestant, expectorant, stimulating, and deodorant activity. For this reason, it is often used in many commercial products including rash creams, mouthwashes, toothpastes, cough drops, decongestant rubs and inhalers, lozenges, and even cosmetics, perfumes, and aromatherapy products. Due to its antiseptic and antibacterial properties, it is also often used in dental products such as root canal fillers and sealers.
A few specific conditions which Eucalyptus Oil has been used to treat include:
- Respiratory Problems (Respiratory Tract Infections, Tuberculosis, Asthma, Bronchitis, Sinusitis, Pneumonia)
- Digestive Problems (Bacterial Dysentery, Upset Stomach)
- Muscle and Joint Pain (Sore Muscles, Tennis Elbow, Rheumatoid arthritis and Osteoarthritis)
- Skin Conditions (Acne, Wounds, Insect Bites, Ringworm, Shingles, Measles)
- Dental Problems (Toothache, Gingivitis, Dental Plaque, Cavities)
- Other Issues (Genital Herpes, Head Lice, Earache, Fever)
Uses of Eucalyptus Oil
REMEDY FOR COUGHS AND COLDS
Eucalyptus Oil is known for its expectorant, decongestant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral activity. A few studies have found that the Eucalyptol component in Eucalyptus Oil may help break up and clear mucous from the lungs. Research has also found that using Eucalyptus Oil for respiratory problems such as sinusitis, whooping cough, bronchitis, colds, and nasal congestion may help speed up the healing process.
A simple remedy for respiratory conditions is to massage a few drops of Eucalyptus Oil onto the chest, back and throat two to three times daily. For sensitive skin, dilute 3-4 drops of Eucalyptus Oil in half teaspoon of Olive Oil before application. You can also diffuse the oil around the house and inhale the Eucalyptus Oil vapours to help with congestion and to make breathing more comfortable. This can be accomplished by mixing 3-4 drops into a small pot of boiling water and then inhaling the vapours.
For a sore throat, mix 3-4 drops of Eucalyptus Oil into a warm cup of water and gargle 4-5 times until relieved.
Eucalyptus Oil has been found to provide a cooling and refreshing sensation. Therefore, it can be used to lower body temperature to help bring a fever down. This is why the Eucalyptus Tree is sometimes referred to as the Fever Tree and its oil is calledFever Oil. For a simple fever remedy, a mix of equal parts Peppermint Oil and Eucalyptus Oil can be sprayed onto the body. For sensitive skin, the mix can be diluted in Olive Oil or water.
HOME REMEDY FOR ASTHMA
The anti-inflammatory, vasodilating (blood vessel widening), and soothing properties of Eucalyptus Oil have been found to help treat symptoms of asthma. Studies suggest that massaging one to three drops of Eucalyptus Oil over the chest and throat may help dilate the blood vessels and airways in that vicinity and allow more oxygen into the lungs, resulting in more comfortable breathing during an asthma attack. Also diffusing Eucalyptus Oil into a room can help keep an asthma sufferer calm and relaxed. This can be accomplished by mixing 3-4 drops of the oil into a pot of boiling water and inhaling the vapours or letting the vapours diffuse the air.
TOOTHACHE AND OTHER DENTAL PROBLEMS
Due to the antibacterial and germicidal activity of Eucalyptus Oil, it is often used in the treatment of dental infections, toothaches, cavities, gingivitis, and dental plaque. For a simple toothache remedy, dip a cotton swab in the oil and apply it directly on the affected tooth every few hours.
For improved overall dental health and hygiene, simply adding a drop of Eucalyptus Oil onto the toothbrush before brushing or adding one drop into your daily mouthwash may be beneficial.
REMEDY FOR ACNE AND OTHER SKIN PROBLEMS
Eucalyptus Oil has antiseptic and antimicrobial properties. Therefore, it can be very effective against skin infections such as acne. It may not only soothe the irritated skin but may also inhibit further growth of microbes and infections in the affected area.
A simple remedy to treat acne, abrasions, burns, cuts, wounds, skin ulcers, sores, insect bites and rashes is to add 4-5 drops into a teaspoon of olive oil and apply it on the affected skin.
REMEDY FOR SHINGLES
Studies have found that the anti-inflammatory, analgesic and anti-viral activity of Eucalyptus Oil can help relieve the discomfort caused by Shingles. An effective remedy is to massage diluted Eucalyptus Oil onto the affected areas of skin once per day. Alternatively, adding 10-15 drops of the oil into a warm bath and then soaking in the water for 15 minutes may help reduce discomfort.
MUSCLE AND JOINT PAIN
Since Eucalyptus Oil has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, it may help with stiff muscles, sprained tendons or ligaments, rheumatoid arthritis, over exercised muscles and general aches and pains. Simply massaging diluted Eucalyptus Oil in a circular motion onto the affected areas of the body may help alleviate many of these forms of discomfort.
HEAD LICE TREATMENT
Eucalyptus Oil is considered to be a natural insect and bug repellent as well as a natural pesticide. Therefore, it can be used as an effective solution for Head Lice. A simple and safe home remedy to get rid of Head Lice is to rub a few drops of Eucalyptus Oil into the hair and scalp one hour before taking a shower every day until the desired results are achieved. When washing the hair, keep the eyes closed to prevent Eucalyptus Oil from going into the eyes.
DEPRESSION AND FATIGUE
Eucalyptus Oil is considered to be a stimulant and vasodilator. Therefore, it may help relax the blood vessels and stimulate and increase blood flow to the brain. Healthy blood flow to the brain rejuvenates the whole body and promotes happy and active behavior. Therefore, diffusing Eucalyptus Oil 10-15 minutes daily into the room may help with depression, stress, confusion, mental exhaustion, fatigue, sluggishness and cognitive disorders.
What are the Side Effects of Eucalyptus Oil?
Eucalyptus does not have any known adverse side effects if consumed and applied in moderation. However, people with sensitive skin may suffer from irritation if Eucalyptus Oil is applied in its undiluted form. Therefore, it is recommended to test Eucalyptus Oil on a small area of skin before using it on a regular basis to see if there is any sensitivity.
Eucalyptus leaves can be consumed in very small amounts as a flavouring agent in teas and foods. However, internal consumption of pure Eucalyptus Oil should be carefully monitored because it can be toxic for adults if more than .05 ml - 0.5 ml/per kilogram of body weight is consumed. Internal use of Eucalyptus Oil for children, pregnant women, or breastfeeding women is not recommended.

What is Stevia?
Stevia is a small shrub like perennial plant which belongs to the sunflower (Asteraceae) family. It is also known as Eupatorium rebaudianum, sweetleaf, honeyleaf and sugarleaf, and sweet herb of Paraguay.
The leaves of Stevia are a source of natural zero-calorie sweetener which is considered sweeter than sugar (sucrose). It has been used in South and Central America , Japan and many other parts of the world as a sugar substitute and in the treatment of a number of health conditions for centuries.
Initially the leaves of Stevia were consumed fresh or dried but eventually chemists isolated the glycosides called stevioside and rebaudioside from its leaves that give stevia its sweet taste.
Stevia also contains phytonutrients, trace elements, minerals, vitamins and volatile oils which give Stevia its nutritional and medicinal properties. In 2008, FDA (The Food and Drug Administration) approved sweetener derived from the herb stevia as safe for use in foods and beverages.
The steviols glycosides are now used in herbal supplements, foods and beverages, and as sweetening powders and syrups. Unlike other sweeteners, Stevia can be used in baking and cooking and its lesser amount is ample.
What are the Benefits of Stevia?
A number of studies show that Stevia can be beneficial in the treatment of many health conditions. Stevia is believed to have anti-bacterial, anti-septic, anti-microbial, anti-oxidant, anti-glycemic, and anti-hypertensive properties which may help with hypertension (high blood pressure), diabetes, chronic fatigue, indigestion, upset stomach, heartburn, weight loss, cold and flu, gingivitis, tooth decay, cavities, dandruff and hair loss, brittle bones or osteoporosis, streptococcus, candidiasis, bacterial infections and skin conditions such as cuts, wounds, rashes, itchiness, blemishes, acne, seborrhoeic dermatitis, dermatitis, eczema, and wrinkles. It may also improve energy levels, strengthen immune system, stimulate mental activity, and may also help in withdrawal from tobacco and alcohol addiction.
Uses of Stevia
DANDRUFF AND HAIR HEALTH
Stevia concentrate is believed to be beneficial for dandruff, dry scalp, and dull, dry and thin hair. People have noticed stronger, dandruff-free and rejuvenated hair after the regular use of Stevia. Simply mix 3-4 drops of Stevia concentrate into your regular shampoo and wash as normal. Also, after shampooing, using stevia tea as a conditioner and rinsing it out after 5 minutes can help retain natural hair colour and strength.
Studies show that Stevia may stabilize blood sugar levels, increase insulin sensitivity, may even promote insulin production by promoting the pancreas health, discourage glucose absorption in the blood, and inhibit candidiasis - a yeast infection that flourish with sugar. Stevia is a great low carb, low sugar and low calorie sugar alternative and the steviol glycosides are not metabolized by the body and are excreted in the urine without getting accumulated in the body. A Study also suggests that Stevia may inhibit the craving for sweet and oily or fatty foods. Drinking tea made with crushed raw Stevia leaves, or with its extract or tea bags two to three times daily may help with hyperglycemia. To make Stevia tea, heat - not boil one cup of water and let a tea bag or 1teaspoon of its leaves steep in it for 5 -7 minutes. Drink it hot or cold. Or 3-4 drops of Stevia extract can be added to warm or cold cup of water. Also stevia can be used as a natural alternative to any other artificial sweetener being used.
Study shows that antibacterial properties of Stevia may help with gingivitis, cavities, tooth decay and mouth sores. It may suppress the development and reproduction of infectious organisms in the gums and teeth, inhibit the growth of plaque and may improve overall oral health. People who have used Stevia as a mouthwash has reported significant decrease in gingivitis and other mouth infections. Simply gargling with Stevia mouthwash and brushing with Stevia added toothpaste may be beneficial. To make Stevia mouthwash, add 3-4 drops of Stevia extract in half a cup of lukewarm water or steep half a cup of tea with its leaves or teabag and gargle three to four times daily especially in the morning and at night. For toothpaste, mix 2 drops of Stevia extract to the regular toothpaste.
HEARTBURN AND INDIGESTION
People in Brazil, Paraguay and Bolivia have been using Stevia tea to soothe upset stomach, heartburn, and to improve indigestion and gastrointestinal function. Drinking Stevia tea after every meal may serve as a digestive aid and relieve heartburn and stomach pain.
HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE (HYPERTENSION)
A few longer term studies done over a period of 1 and 2 years show that stevia may lower elevated blood pressure levels. Simply drinking Stevia tea twice daily may help stabilize the blood pressure levels.
A study performed on chickens shows that by adding Stevia leaf powder to chicken feed it significantly increased calcium metabolism in the chickens and had 75% decreased eggshell breakage. A patent application for possible Osteoporosis treatment with Stevia suggests that stevia may help promote absorption of calcium in the body and help improve bone density. Suggested remedy is to make Alfalfa and stevia tea by steeping Alfalfa herb and Stevia half teaspoon each for 5-7 minutes. Drink it two to three times daily. Adding vitamin D powder to the tea or taking its supplements can be beneficial too.
Recent medical research suggests that low at carbohydrates, calories and sugar Stevia may be beneficial in weight management. One preliminary research suggests that Stevia may interfere with the functions of hypothalamus and may aid weight loss by curbing the hunger sensation. Hypothalamus is a part of the brain which controls hunger, thirst and fatigue along with its other functions. Anti-glycemic activity of Stevia may also control blood glucose levels which is one of the major causes of weight gain. Stevia works as a tonic to increase energy levels in people battling for weight loss. Suggested remedy is to drink one cup of Stevia tea or mix 10-15 drops of Stevia concentrate in one cup of cold or warm water. Drink it 15 minutes before every meal.
WRINKLES AND OTHER SKIN CONDITIONS
Stevia is believed to be a remarkable healing agent for skin disorders. Its antioxidant, antibacterial and antiseptic activity may help with wrinkles, skin blemishes, dermatitis, eczema, acne outbreaks, scarring, rashes, itchiness and chapped lips. A small amount of Stevia concentrate applied directly onto the affected skin may promote the healing process. To smooth out the wrinkles, before going to bed, apply a paste made by crushed Stevia leaves or its liquid concentrate evenly all over the face and let it dry for fifteen to twenty minutes. Wash and pat dry your face and apply a few drops of extra virgin coconut oil on the face and leave it on over night to benefit from its antioxidant effects.
What are the Side Effects of Stevia?
There are not any reported side effects of Stevia when taken in moderation. Based on intensive global researches and scientific reports, The World Health Organisation (WHO) of the UN and Food and Drug Administration of the US had approved the use of Steviol glycosides as safe and has established an acceptable daily intake of 4mg per kg of body weight. However, if you are taking any medication for diabetes or hypertension, due to its anti-glycemic and anti-hypertensive activity supervised Stevia consumption is advised. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your physician before using Stevia therapeutically.

The Company works with staff and leading experts in drug development, medicinal characterization, and clinical research to develop, produce, and commercialize novel therapeutic approaches for the treatment of multiple critical ailments from cancer and infections to age-related illnesses and neurobehavioral disorders.
Our products, broadly described, are medical cannabinoid formulations developed from one or more of the cannabinoid compounds found in the cannabis plant. Our immediate focus is to treat one of the most important diseases in the world, cancer.
BASIS & PHILOSOPHY
Cannabis plants have extensive history of medical and agricultural use dating back thousands of years.
To date hundreds of natural constituents covering several chemical classes have been isolated and identified from the Cannabis plant.
SOME KEY PHYTOCANNABINOIDS ARE:
- tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)
- cannabidiol (CBD)
- cannabigerol (CBG)
- cannabichromene (CBC)
- cannabinol (CBN)
These cannabinoids belong to the chemical class of terpenophenolics, of which 85 have been uniquely identified in cannabis, including the most psychoactive cannabinoid, THC. Some applications of cannabinoids have been well established in peer-reviewed literature such as for alleviating nausea and stimulating the appetite for people with AIDS and cancer. Other well-known uses include easing chronic pain and reducing muscle spasms associated with multiple sclerosis and spinal cord injuries.
The pharmacology of THC has been widely studied, while many other identified cannabinoids are still poorly characterized pharmacologically and biologically, with new activities for cannabinoids consistently being discovered.
Valley Medical is developing novel cannabis based approaches to treat the world’s most deadly illnesses. We learn from patients about the healing properties of cannabis medicines. Our immediate focus is the development of cutting edge cancer treatments.
The Company’s future endeavors include infectious illnesses, neurobehavioral disorders including attention deficit disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder; and an application of the anti-inflammatory activities of cannabis in the management of age-related illnesses.
The endocannabinoid system possessed by all vertebrates regulates all body systems and maintains homeostasis. As such, the mechanisms of phytocannabinoids’ biological impact are multidimensional.
While concentrating on our core activities of discovering and developing treatments that will make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives, we remain mindful that we have other responsibilities to the clinicians who utilize our drugs, health authorities around the world, our shareholders, our employees, and the communities in which we live and work. We continually strive to improve our corporate responsibility standards and activities, implementing comprehensive ethical standards and undertaking patient and community progressive initiatives.
These principles reflect the mission of Valley Medical to provide innovative therapeutics for unmet medical needs.
As the industry leader, Valley Medical consults and leads other emerging businesses that Cannabis Science believes has a preferred business model, one which will mature into a key business model in the future. Our consulting is on the entire "seed to sale" process with a focus on bio-pharmaceutical development.
Valley Medical is one of the longest standing companies in the cannabis business.
We feel that the correct way is to look at the industry from a bio-pharmaceutical standpoint, in a manner that allows cannabinoid-based products to modulate the endocannabinoid system to treat multiple conditions. Scientifically, we know this is the beginning of one of the greatest expansions of medicine and industry we will ever experience in our lifetime.

Other well-known uses include easing chronic pain and reducing muscle spasms associated with neuromuscular disorders like MS and spinal cord injuries. Some current uses are poorly understood, such as its perceived effectiveness in alleviating certain autoimmune disorders, such as Crohn’s Disease.
Our team of scientists will produce and commercialize products derived from cannabis-based botanical extracts. Even today, new uses for cannabinoids are consistently discovered. For example, scientists recently found that topical cannabinoid-based preparations can be effective against MRSI, the deadly antibiotic-resistant flesh-eating disease. Other topical applications, which are largely non-psychoactive, would target localized pain, such as arthritis and burns, as well as neuropathic pain, for which there are few effective treatments.
In 2001, an article published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal revealed that, based on self-identified needs, it is estimated that 2% (or 400,000) of Canadian adults were already utilizing cannabinoids for medical purposes. With ever increasing use and scientific support for cannabinoid medicines occurring in the US and around the world, we are looking at a new multi-billion dollar industry that will play a dramatic role that will impact human health on a global scale.

This section was updated on 2 September 2016 due to a new certification of our test grow of Medical Cannabis in our Farm # 3 in Monteria Colombia.
The Colombian Government has taken random samples of our test grow of 1,000 medical grade cannabis plants. The reason for this random sampling is to determine the viability of our production as medical grade plants and the quality of such.
The following represents the results and market price as determined by FNE of Colombia, the controlling entity for controlled substances.
Authorized Hectares for growing fields: 20
Authorized plants per Hectare: 8,000
Flower yield per plant: 3 to 5 pounds
Graded extracted oil per ounce of flower: 3 to 4 grams
Market price as determined by grade of extracted oils: $120,000 to $180,000 Colombian Pesos ($40 to $60 USD )
Based on the above data as provided by our official certification, the following report is offered: (We are using the minimum values as provided by the Colombian certification)
8,000 plants per hectare
x 3 pounds of flower per plant
=24,000 pounds of Flower
x 16 ounces per pound
x 3 grams per ounce
=1,152,000 grams of Oil
x $40 per gram
=$46,080,000 USD per one Hectare per quarter.
VMG is in the process of preparing 3 Hectares for planting. Each growing period for a mature plant is 3 to 4 months. Planting schedule is one hectare per quarter providing an evenly spaced yield of 9 harvests per year. We need investors to help grow this project.
